I picked up today and I'm so excited to see...but DQ, we must chat once we see it.

Yep. It was great. I basically wrote down what I thought about the movie here, if anyone's interested.
I've only watched it once so far...I'm going to watch it again, this time with the commentary, after I finish watching season 10 and maybe Ark of Truth again |

Hi, stargate continuum was super film....Did you know that Don S. Davis died on heart attack?? In 29. june 2008....so he didn't see premiere. |

Wow, I didn't know that. That's horribly tragic :(.
As for Continuum: For me, it felt like a good ole eppy of Stargate. Albeit awesome special effects and on site filming in Antarctica. It went right back to the beginning...which made it feel even more special. Sure, the snazzy new elements were there, but an older enemy (Goa'uld) and Jack! Overall, I enjoyed it!
